With social media playing a large part of today's life especially with business, it is up to our friends and family to share what we do and produce as small business owners as well as ourselves. Hi, I'm Peter George, and this is the intro episode, episode triple zero. People have often asked me, "What is the lifestyle guide for Gen X or the guide for Gen X?" My answer is, "It's the next big thing." Gen X generally is anywhere between 1963-ish to about the early 1980s, and it's the generation which will take everything forward from here on. It's going to replace the baby boomers.
If you're genuine and honest about who you are and jump in, then I believe you'll be successful in business. Don't beat around the bush. Don't tell people what they want to hear. Be you. We're entrepreneurs. We're trying to make a business succeed. And you know, you hear things about, "are you a multilevel marketer," "you're a pyramid scheme person"--
One of the things Jane and I are fortunate to do is travel a bit, as a photographer, this is great as I love photographing the different people and places and sharing life stories through images.
Whether being an amateur or professional we can always learn new things, how to shoot something we have never done, tweak your business just a little to get more people through the door. After 10+ years in the industry, I wish to share what I have learnt, the mistakes I have made and how I am starting my new photography business.
